"For many years elderly people in Newtown were unable to enjoy the provisions of local Nursing Home services. Thankfully this is no longer so and we are thrilled to welcome local residents into Bethshan. We believe in the sanctity of human life and that those in need should be cared for those more able. Bethshan is not an institution but a home, where the spirit of family exists and the residents and staff enjoy an atmosphere of peace, friendship and support. We are looking forward to starting on the next phase of the project and to again being able to meet the needs of vulnerable people in later life."Alan Hewitt (Senior Pastor - Newtown Pentecostal Church)
